Informational message! to a collector buddy!
I've been associated with benchrest since 1986 and have a fond love of the sport / game. I've always been competitive and loved the fellowship, just have not been able to travel and shoot as much as I would like, since I've been so busy raising my 2 boys, and trying to establish our business I find myself falling into the same routine. But one thing that God has blessed me with is I've never met a stranger, so when I'm not able to compete or go to matches I have a local, public range that I attend on a pretty regular basis and I've been able to make several ( 20+ ) friends. In my travels to this range I've been able to introduce some hi-tech stuff and the guys seem to love it, in which they look forward to seeing what kind of gadget I'm going to bring to the range this week. That being said, here is my message. These guys are thirsty for this type of equipment and cant seem to get enough of it, I've often said I would sell, post and advertise my stuff, but it never makes it to that point, the guys at the range are more than willing to buy almost anything I bring or have for sale? So this bring me to my topic, if anyone reading this has spare or left over benchrest stuff, don't settle or think it's not valuable, there are guys willing to pay good money if they are shown what this sport is all about. The one thing I see on a regular basis is, the general public has no idea of what we do, and if they had knowledge of it they would be interested. This is a great sport, I truly love and can only wish we had more guys / gals involved.
