Images for Awards Opinions on decal

Hey gang. Happy New Year to you all.

I am wondering if anyone has some images that could be used to insert into Match winner decals or Certificates?

I am designing a few things on my PC to print out for matches and would realy like an image of a Benchrest shooter, scoped rifle or something approprite to use on the decals or certificates.

We are also in need of replacing our traveling trophy and I am wondering of some ideas for a smaller more friendly trophy for traveling with. THe thought may be a plaque but some ideas to put on the plaque would be nice. Photos even.

They can be e-mailed to me at:

cyanchycki@mts.net

Thanks

Here is River Bend's 5x pin. They also have a screamer pin but I don't have one to take a picture of  Something like a Maple Leaf might work out better than more complex artwork.

Thanks Ray

I have a Match Winner decal designed on a Maple Leaf that I think looks pretty good. When printed out it measures about 2.5" X 2.5". It is sort of based on the Benchrest Shooters of Canada or BRSC. This Decal is for the BRSC Canadian Nationals.

I was thinking maybe a Certificate that could be printed out on some nice stationary as a sort of participation certificate as well for the Canadian Nationals. Thus wanting a image of a benchrest shooter. It would be the background with the writing in front. To many it may not be a big thing but to the first timer it shows that he or she gave it a try. I am kicking ideas around but need to bring it forwrd to the executive. I guess I could use the same image of the target in the MapleLeaf but I amtrying to not be to repetitive on the image used.

I was also wondering if there are maybe medals out there that someone has used that are inexpensive?

We are trying to grow awarness to the sport in Canada. There are not many shooters from Manitoba west who compete on a regular basis.

Thanks to Rick Pollock who started benchrest.ca and benchrestforum.ca we are trying to get the word out and try and lure people one at a time to attend a match.

I feel that if there is just a little award handed out to the first time shooter it may be the ticket.

The other thing I am trying to get going is our own Canadian version of the Screamer Patch as well as for a clean target in a score shoot.

What I am wondering is how are score shoots handled in regards to a clean target? First patch could be a 50 5X or a 55 if the point system is used like is used in Eastern Canada. What could the next be if anything? My buddy shoots score and since he started shooting a 6PPC in score shoots he said it is not as difficult as he thought to shoot a clean target. Any ideas how it could be handled?

Thanks in advance for the advice if I get any ;)

Please!

Do make available tee shirts at the 2010 IBS 100/200 Nationals. I will be the first to order 2 large. Just let me know the tariff and I will send you a check.

I am willing to bet I am not the only one who wants one or more :) I was sorely disapointed that there were none offered for last year's 100-200 nats. As we age, we can remind ourselves where we were in the years we participated. In spite of my 50 or so tee shirts of significance I want to continue to enlarge the collection.

just a

little taste of what I have been working on.

I got a program for a HIGH price ;) and have been playing with it for a while and things are starting to fall into place.

It is the start of a yearly decal I hope to design to reflect the range and Province where the shoot is being held.

So what

you shooters think of this design for what it represents?

Does it SCREAM Canada?

Input or thoughts appreciated?

The official will have another mark to definately denote Canada.

Looks good. I wonder if you should have space to write the group size and maybe the date?

Okay you

guys. Think this is to busy for a 2" insert that would be used on a plaque?
