Carstensen IBS Iowa State Group Champion

Jim Carstensen smoked the rest of the field with a .2422 two gun this weekend at Webster City. He started with a teen agg Saturday in the Lv100, placed well in the Lv200, took the Grand, and never let up. Sunday he won the Hv200 also.
Jason Meyer won the 200Lv Saturday, with a teen agg if i remember right, showing his dad Terry, how it's done.:)

When leaving Jim said something about 300 acres of corn possibly going under water if his dike doesn't hold after the dam broke at Lake Delhi Saturday after more torrential rains here in Iowa. Good luck Jim.

BTW-Jim says he lost 150 acres when his dike broke.

Sorry about that Jim. But, you still have enough corn left to send down here for us to make corn whiskey with!!

Looking on the brighter side its like the latest #1 Country song...""rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey, whiskey makes my baby feel a little frisky...""

Dave Coots managed to wake up Sunday and get serious at 100 yards and shoot an .185 agg. He relaxed a little at 200, but still managed to win the Heavy grand agg., and finish 2nd in the two gun.

Some of my corn may have some value, depending on how fast the water goes down. It looks ugly right now.
