Can you help a new guy out? The next winter league match at Fairfax is listed as February 14th. Is this right? Or maybe a test of devotion to the sport? I mean really, the garage floor gets pretty chilly this time of year.

I checked also and you're right, the match is scheduled for Valentines Day.

We shot sunday and I don't think next month will be much worse.et out your longjohn's.
 
Boy, you can tell pretty quickly who wears the pants in which households and I ain't one of 'em.

Adrian, there is no 30BR on the horizon for me. As long as I stay in the factory class I have room to believe the problem with my shooting isn't all me.

Anyway, I have to work too much to really get around and shoot all of the places that I would like to take a truly nice rifle. Maybe when I retire (and get a divorce).;)

So the bottom line is that if I want to shoot in February, I need to be on the first relay, accept that I will win nothing, and it will still cost me more than a nice box of candy, good bottle if wine, dinner out and some expensive piece of unobtanium that will not in fact bolt onto a rifle...
 
Valentine's Day...Garage

Hmmm...let's see...I have my loading area, a good radio and a couple of space heaters out there...Oh...and a couple of kegs of quality beer (post loading of course!)...I guess the garage isn't that bad...SO, I'll try and make the next match!

But, before making the assumption on the real decision maker, please note that it was NOT my idea to miss the match last Sunday...:(

Holder, most of us have been married long enough that the wife is glad for us to leave for the day. :) Just take her out Saturday night instead and come on and shoot. Steve
