The reason that I am posting is that his thread, from yesterday, must have gotten deleted by mistake, along with all the spam. Randy is back home after spending some time in ICU for a small stroke. It seems to me, based on my conversation with him that he is well on his way to a full recovery. Good news...We may hear from him in the next day or two, but I thought that his many friends would appreciate some information about how he is doing.

Randy is a great guy, and I have had many (Long) conversations with him. I remember a rummer eailier this year about his health that was spread all around the internet, and even into the shooting circles, so I had to call him to see what was up. He was suprised and told me that the rummer was not true, as it was obiously not true. I would hope this was the case here, but since this post is comming from Boyd I seriously doubt it. We will keep Randy In our prayers. Hopefully he will have a speedy recovery, and we will hear from him soon.
 
Yep, just got an email from him acknowledging my bullet order, so he must be feeling better.

Thank you, Boyd, and to all who have called/e-mailed their best wishes.:D Technically, I experienced an external bleed, as opposed to a stroke, which is a blocked vessel. This I believe is why I was so fortunate, to have had the bleeding stop, without causing any major, long term damage. It was simply a 'freak' deal - no aneurisms, plaque, high blood-pressure (prior to event), tumors, etc. - if ya have to come close, the best possible out-come for a potentially catastrophic experience.:D

Regrettably, I missed the opportunity to jab back at those who posted their 'twisted' best wishes on that original post, which, being in the midst of a bunch of spam, were deleted.:p But, to those who made fun of me - THANK YOU; that was GREAT healing sarcasm.:p To Jerry S., THANK YOU - the experience was spiritual and humbling: I don't ever think I'll take anything for granted again. :D

I am improving every day, but still tire easily and, when it comes to writing, am a little 'slow' and get somewhat confused: Happily, I will rapidly return to "normal" . . . whatever that is/was.:confused: Kinda hard on the ego, but, the alternatives were grim!)chill(

Again, thank alll who have prayed, and/or, offered their good will. RG
