Thank you, Boyd, and to all who have called/e-mailed their best wishes.
Technically, I experienced an external bleed, as opposed to a stroke, which is a blocked vessel. This I believe is why I was so fortunate, to have had the bleeding stop, without causing any major, long term damage. It was simply a 'freak' deal - no aneurisms, plaque, high blood-pressure (prior to event), tumors, etc. - if ya have to come close, the best possible out-come for a potentially catastrophic experience.
Regrettably, I missed the opportunity to jab back at those who posted their 'twisted' best wishes on that original post, which, being in the midst of a bunch of spam, were deleted.
But, to those who made fun of me - THANK YOU; that was GREAT healing sarcasm.
To Jerry S., THANK YOU - the experience was spiritual and humbling: I don't ever think I'll take anything for granted again.
I am improving every day, but still tire easily and, when it comes to writing, am a little 'slow' and get somewhat confused: Happily, I will rapidly return to "normal" . . . whatever that is/was.
Kinda hard on the ego, but, the alternatives were grim!)chill(
Again, thank alll who have prayed, and/or, offered their good will. RG
