howa 1500 heavy .308-twist rate?

Hello, saw one of these at Scheel's, and I'm curious if anyone knows their particular twist rate?
Any other details, first-hand experiences will be helpful; I'm considering getting one for some 200 yard group testing & maybe local 200 yard VFS matches.

24" Barrel 1x12 twist. ~9lbs. the HOWA action mfg in Japan is a Weatherby Vanguard. Same as S&W 1500 Mossberg 1500 etc. Mine shoots very well Sierra MK 150gr best several others very nicely also. Very good guns for the money.
 
Had one for a while. Good shooter. I sometimes kick myself for trading it.

i have one in 308 varmint and while i am not the best shot i have managed some 13 inch groups at 1000 yards with it using 175 mk's. i think the rifle can do better with a better driver.

Mr. Earl, 13" @ 1K with factory .308W is about as good as it gets.
