How do you post a video.??

I have no trouble posting pictures from my IPad by using the attachment manager. But I can't seem to get it to download a short video.

When I choose the video, it compresses, I then hit download, and it come up to big to fit the format.

What am I doing wrong?

In my one excursion into the world of internet video, I uploaded HD to Youtube. It was a little involved, given that I had to convert the file before editing and uploading, but I was pleased with the result. How big is the original file?
 
OK - what do we need here? If there's a plugin needed to post videos maybe I can find an easier method..or something. I see videos but don't know what folks had to go through to post them! I recall posting a couple of videos but can't remember what I had to do.

In short (and already asked) - what is needed here?

the few vids i posted here were just linked from youtube using the 'insert video' button above.

for example:




steps to post a vid:

assuming the video has been uploaded to a hosting site such as youtube, vimeo, etc...

in the message composition window, type what you want to say, then click on the button circled in red.


then, copy and paste the hyperlink to the video you want to share in the field highlighted, and click 'ok'.


click preview or submit and there you go.

Or you can simply copy and paste the URL of the page where the video is found. Uploading to a hosting site like Youtube frees us from the constraints of file size that are found in forums. It took me a little time to get the drill down on how to do this, but if I could do it, with a little looking around, I am sure that just about anyone could. After looking at a lot of youtube videos, I have one suggestion to all of the hand held guys. Get a tripod!

Is Adolph going to the super shoot this year? Is he camping next to Billy and Bart?

I don't know how it works or even how to post a picture but I sure did enjoy last years clip of Adolph getting ready to go to the super shoot!!!!! Thanks Bart and anyone who helped make it possible!!!!!
