I sure would like to see you North Texas Shooters come down for some of our Score Matches we will have at Tomball. The first one is Feb 3. I know it is just one agg, and it's along drive, but I garantee some stiff competition.
Bring those 30BR's, and show us "how it's done".........jackie

Funny you should say that about Shelley. All the photo's I have of Shelley..... there's only one with someone else an that's Brian Albee. Though I do have a photo of him talking on the phone with Dick Wright.

That photo was taken not long after a 30 mph gust of wind caused Shelly to break one of my sons targets. We were shooting clay birds at 400 yds. The look on his face tells you how bad the conditions were that day.
I had the privilege of shooting with Shelly, Stick Starks, Jerry Stiller and the rest of the DFW group twice in 07. Never a dull moment and alot of knowledge given freely. Hope they can make it to Tomball.

I will encourage the friends of Shelly to come way down there to suffer the competition and try to win the wood.

Just

got out of the hospital from knee replacement surgery. Shelly drove over half of Fort Worth to take me to last friday's lunch a group of local shooters attend. He offered without hesitation. Helluva guy. I think I did disconcert him when I went "OW,:eek: OW,:eek: OW,:eek: OW,:eek: OW :eek:" as I was trying to get my leg in the car. When I'm more mobile I'll try to join Shelly and you guys at Tomball.

If Jackie had heard your yelps of pain while getting into my car, he'd write a rap song about it. For those who don't know, Jackie can play a guitar and has written a few songs. Geeeze, you just ain't lived till you hear that BR Rap he does.

Jackie, I'll try to get my gun back together before your first match. I'm kinda like the shoemaker, lately, I just haven't had time to work on my own stuff. Although Tomball is a bit far to go each month, I'll try to make an occasional match. I'll try to get David Williams to come along, his 30BRX is shooting mighty good.
