Hart two oz. trigger

My sporter has a Hart two ounce trigger that I would like to adjust. I have Stuart Otteson's book " Benchrest actions and triggers" but do not see an explanation on how to tune. This rifle came to me via many other shooting careers and is not an original with me. Actually any info would be appreciated.

Thanks for reply Mr. Johnson. Do you own one of these triggers? I'm just not a trigger savvy guy. My Hart trigger has a lot of slack or creep in it before it breaks. Is there an adjustment for that?

Hart 2 oz Trigger

On the bottom of the trigger frame are 3 screws from rear counting 1,2,3 (also the screw between 2 and 3 which is for loosening the trigger shoe fore and aft and retightening for length of pull-pay no never mind to this one) #1 is for overtravel stop. A slight amount of overtravel is necessary to function. #2 is spring tension on trigger shoe. #3 is for engagement. Turn to right to decrease, turn to left to increase, move only about 1/16 turn and then check for desired action. This info is taken from R.W. Hart & Son Directions. It also says if repairs are needed send them the trigger. I own three and they are very good triggers.
