Hand Wringing Dissolved ?

Untill our "dear leader" is able to stack the Court with one more Liberal and that 5-4 becomes 4-5.

Keep in mind, President Obama has 6 more years. I say that because the American Electorate is just stupid enough to fall for it again.

Right at 1/2 of the population does not even pay income tax. Who do you think they are voting for??.........jackie
 
It boggles the mind that 4 Supreme Court Justices could believe that the City of Chicago could nulify the 2nd Amendment just by passing a local ordinance. What about the rest of the Amendments? Can they be eliminated also?

I guess the answer is ... that some folks will be living in fear for their entire life. Constantly wringing their hands, sweating out the next move, and wondering where the next bogeyman is going to be coming from.
 
Get a grip, the constitution lives. We know that it must be defended or changed lawfully.

Tonight we can sleep peacefully with our firearms nearby.

The Constitution may survive, but will it be interpreted in the manner which it's signers intended ? Hard to do this now that a legitamate (supposedly) legal argument goes on over what the true meaning of "is" is. It ain't lookin' good with the current hierarchy.....there's so much to try to undo already.

It's time to perfect a Time Machine so the citizenry of this country can go back and ask them for their true intentions. No conjecture, no interpretations, no politics, and no agenda. :)

There really is a time machine for just this purpose. Thank goodness, in their wisdom, our Founding Fathers preserved the debates that resolved their true intentions when writing the Constitution.

THE FEDERALIST PAPERS!

One can still go and read what the debates were that our Founding Fathers had, and how they were ultimately sorted out.

The current sad state of education in this country could be improved if history were actually taught instead of being ignored. However, many people in education would find that there is a HUGE difference between what they say the Founding Fathers intended, AND WHAT THE FOUNDING FATHERS SAY THEY INTENDED!

But this important piece of history is ignored, because it runs contrary to what those who wish to indoctrinate our children believe.

And that is just one of the things leading to the downfall of our Country, and it breaks my heart!

Greg---Thank you for that great post. If one truly reads those debates there leaves absolutely no doubt about the Founding Fathers intentions.
