Has anyone had any bad experiences buying from this site, or for that matter, any gun auction site. I found a rifle I'm interested in, but after two identity compromising incidents on flea-bay, I've shyed away from the Auction sites altogether.. Any input would be appreciated..

You know....if it doesn't smell right, then you don't eat it!

You rely on feedback, and talk to the sellers on the phone and request additional photos if need be. Using common sense goes a long way to avoiding problems. I've bought 3 rifles valued from $650 to $1,200 each and had no problems. I've also sold 3 rifles and caused nobody grief.
Bought tons of stuff on ebay with no major disapointments either.

There's people who try to contact me with scams on the gun auction sights, but I never have any trouble identifying them immediately.

That's about it.

I removed my source of anxiety by calling the dealer and arranging for the purchae over the phone. The only downside, and I don't even consider it that, is that they treat debit cards like credit and add 3%, so I have to go to the Post Office and get a MO.. No big deal...
