Pictures Of The Range

Bruce, have not been up in the Richmond area for some Time, I was told that the Black Creek Range was very nice and could hold some big matches like KettleFoot does ! I`m sure that more than just me would like a tour of Black Creek if you could post some pictures!

I shot at 3 IR Nationals there, and you're right, it can handle 120 shooters no problem. Kay C. did a great job of situating and building the range(s) and I only wish I lived about 500 miles closer. It's a tad over 600 from here to there, so it's not a trip to be taken lightly, especially since NY City, Baltimore and DC have to be negotiated, and usually around their rush hours.

Hi to all the friends I made there all those years ago.

Here are a few shots I took Sunday. The parking area is huge and flat and there are 40 benches.

There are TWO (!!!!) rows of cleaning benches behind the shooting benches.

You can go to the IR5050 site to see more pictures of the range.

I realize now that none of these show downrange at all so I'll shoot some of those at next month's match.
