Moderators if you need to move this feel free.

Some of you know me here in the northeast. I have been shooting an Encore Just to be able to shoot and promote a bit of business. Allie Euber helped me get a sleeved Remington to teach my kids and get them shooting on a budget. I've been selling a few things off and saving toward a good rifle for myself. Being I build rimfires and a local used benchrest rifle fell through I decided to build my own centerfire benchrest rifle. I had enough money to purchase an action and the basic goodies to start the project.
I called one of the bigger guys to order the action, I wanted an action that was in stock so I can shoot this summer.
When I asked questions about the action's, because the one I wanted was not in stock, I kept getting the answer, Well I'd have to go look. Check out the website and you'll find the answers. But he still did not know if it was in stock unless he went and looked. I promised to look at the website feeling, like my business was not important to him or he would have gone and looked "NOW". Because I would had purchased it right then.
After thinking it over I decided not to call back.

I needed to make the purchase before something else comes up!

Today I called Bob White who I had met a few times, and knew my plight and how difficult it was for me to get here. While I was on the phone not only did he have the product I wanted, he explained everything to me about it and even found bases and a trigger. He knew that this is my only gun till I get 3 children through college and wanted me to do it right, not just sell me parts.
All I can say is Shooters' Corner and Bob White is a Class act and a all around good guy!!!
Thanks Bob

Whereabouts in the Adirondacks? I spent 17 years in Plattsburgh and later in Peru. Couple of my favorite places were Taylor Pond and Tupper lake. Loved it there except for the snow and -25 degrees temp. But that was warmer than the -45 at Grand Forks.

I'm in Warrensburg NY, Born and raised in Indian lake NY. I was the maintence manager at Big Tupper Ski area for a year in 1989. Worked at Gore Mt for 10 seasons. I've been shooting at Dunhams Bay now for 3 seasons. We had the mildest winter I can remember this year. But an hour south and beyond got hammered!
