Glue in action

I've been reading this forum for a while now and was wondering, I've herd a lot about gluing in actions into stocks. Does this mean when you want to pull the barreled action the stock is ruined?

Nope, a bit of heat applied to the action will release it from the glue, an old close Iron placed on top of the scope bases for about 20 minutes works well. I use JB weld for my glue ins.

Hal,
You are correct, of course...but...I think from Mad Jack's question it needs to be said that the barrel is removeable by simply holding the barrel in a barrel vise and turning the action/stock assembly using a wrench that is inserted into the rear of the action or the loading port.
