Genesis handle recoil? Not break?

Couple yrs ago I had a Genesis mounted on a big 338 and felt it was not repeating.... I posted here and also called Deon. A nice lady at Deon told me that "the Genesis system is very robust and you can throw anything at it"

I took it off the 338 cuz I couldn't make it shoot.

So now I'm in a situation. I'm in need of a very tall mounting system on 4 different 50BMG's ranging from 15.5lb up to a big 30 pounder. The mount on the Genesis is built right in and of the perfect height to fit on the 15.5lb gun.

Whatever warranty Deon offered it's long since expired........

Does anyone here have experience with a Genesis on a hard recoiling rifle? (I realize that no one, anywhere, ever has built a 15lb BMG.... but that's beside the point)

BTW the Simmons and Leupold I've been using for proofing have held up fine LOL

There have been several 15# 50s

Serbu RN-50 "shorty" is 11 lbs, the carbine is 12#, standard is 15#. Pretty sure Safety Harbor's .50 was under 15# as well. There were a whole rash of that minimalist style a couple decades ago.

Interesting info!

I was unaware of so many lightweight 50s And hadn't thought of comparing Lou's big 40. I'd spoken to Lou about the 338 experience. I haven't spoken with Turk nor Eric Stanton

I guess I'll bolt 'er up and go :)

Thank You All
