Frozen Luepold Variable?

I own two Luepold 6.5x20 scopes that were boosted by Premier several years ago to 18x40. While I'm not absolutely positive that I've screwed up one of them, it's a good possibility. I know from lots of previous discussions that Premier won't work on it and Luepold will change it back to a 6.5x20. I'm wondering if there is anyone who will freeze this scope as has been done with the fixed power scopes, so that it can be used on 40X only with one of the frozen scope mounts? I don't really favor either of these options, but if it is damaged as I think it is, it isn't much use to me in this condition.

Leupold will fix it, at least they did mine after much haggling. Mine was a first focal plane scope with a custom reticle all by Premier. I had to agree to pay to reverse all of Premier's changes and them they would fix any Leupold problems under warranty. What actually happened was they billed me for a new reticle to replace the custom reticle from Premier and that was it. Mine wasn't boosted and yours may not be when they fix it but it will work as designed. Good luck.
