Front rest

Looking for some suggestions on a quality front rest and where to get. I have a Bald Eagle rest now, it ok for the money, wanting something little more refined. Thanks

Check out www.viperbench-rest.com and go to the customizing page and check them out. Not a joy stick set up but any top can be used with his set up. Bob is A+ to deal with and a close friend as well.............Rick Morehouse

Another top rest is the Randolph Machine rest, either their Front or One-Piece Rest @ http://randolphmachine.com/front.html. Lots of the top shooters in both Airgun and Rimfire use them. Not that I qualify as a top shooter, but I've had mine for 15 years now and would buy another in a heart beat.

plus the JJ from John Loh

There is nothing quite like

being able to go from the sighter to a record target simply by sliding a lever. Some folks don't like that feature but it has always escaped me as to why they don't.

Sebs are joy stick control- 360 deg from one place. the Loh windage is at the base of the pedestal-transportorting that entire assembly

I have the websites for the Vipers, Sinclairs, Greenlaws, but not for the JJ Loh or the Seb. Is there any? Also, do these have windage adjustments?

Rodzilla Raptor...

This is another premium option for a front rest. It's the best I've had my hands on, IMHO. It uses a different coax mechanism. I made up my mind to buy one when I saw how it was engineered vs the others. I haven't had my hands on the new X models from Seb but it looks like he liked the design well enough to change all of his rests to the same basic internal design. I think the Raptor is worth a look to anyone interested in upgrading front rests. I have no major complaints. There are a few small details I'd like to see him address specifically for BR but they're cheap and easy DIY stuff. You just won't believe how near frictionless this rest can be set up to be. I've never seen anything close but the new Seb should be in the same class. I liked doing business with an American company. Nothing against the others but I buy American made when I can and I'm happy with my choice.
