The 2018 Williamsport 1,000 Yard Benchrest school is over. I failed again, so I guess I will need to go ack in 2019 and repeat the course (for the 4th time).

Eveyone had a great time and the upgrades to the club were spectacular.

Actually I am sure you know I am joking. I had a great mentor and a great time and I go each year to meet more guys with like interests that I might shoot with as I have a hard time taking weekends off. I met another New York City guy at this years school as well as one in North Jersey and some in Central PA that can shoot during the week. I drive out and shoot some weekdays but it is not as much fun doing it alone.

I actually did win best group in my relay in Sunday's competition, as well as having the best score in that relay, my student partner won best score as well as best group in his relay and best score overall. So I think our instructor did pretty good.

To get trigger time prior to the school, we loaded up and shot a lot of paper. Since we did not have a pit crew before the school, we posted targets and shot center as well as with a left or right offset. This is why you can not see a bullseye in this attachement.

Pictured is a 10 shot group (less the one flier that was about another 5 " out, ruining my group and making it closer to 10", but the other nine measure 4.375 at the widest center to center. Best shooting I have ever done.

I wish they wouldn't count the flier in my group either. Been to the school years ago when Frank was still there. Great experience.
