Fellas i have a quick question. Can you use a fireforming barrel for the first shot in a 6ppc if the chamber is a little bit bigger than the chamber your going to use to shoot. What i mean is this. I have an old shilen barrel that ron H chambered and it is worn out. I wondered if i could use this barrel for a FF barrel even though the chamber on this shilen is bigger than than the chamber on my new Dave Bruno barrels. I just dont want to put un-necessary rounds on the new barrels if i dont have to. It seems to me that i read that once brass is shot in a bigger chamber it will have memory and not work properly in a tighter chamber of the same caliber? The head space is also longer in the shilen barrel i have so i will have to push the shoulders back about .007 before i can shoot it in the bruno barrel. The bruno chamber i have requires a small base die if that means anything. Can i use the shilen or is this not a good idea? Thanks Lee
