Hi Everyone,

Question: Can .220 Russian brass be fire formed to function in a 6mm BR chamber/rifle?

Thanks in advance for the help

John

It is not possible to fire form a 6mm Remington to 6mm br. To go from 6mm Remington to 6mm br the reloader must become a case former. First from the case then fire. Fire forming is a matter of chambering a round and pulling the trigger. There is necking up and necking down, when necking up and or down RCBS says 'no forming die necessary'.
