I have a mcmillion hunting stock from early 1980s
can the forend be increased in width to say 2.5 in?
I just likethe fell of it to fit my big hands.i would not like to buy another one thought to do this.

RW hart makes , what they call an accuracy asset Its a few metal plates that attach to hunting rifle stock and create a 3 inch wide area to ride in the bag.
It attaches on the front sling stud hole

Yes.

I build them out all the time using Acra-Glas mixed with a silica floc like Aerosil/Cabosil and make a lightweight peanut buttery goo. I've also glued styrofoam to them and overlaid fiberglass/resin like making a boat or doing bodywork but this gets heavy fast....
