Feinwerkbau 800 barrel mounting position

I have removed the barrel from the stock and when I put it back I noticed that the if I push the barrel all the way it, the end of the barrel on the receiver side will stick out like what’s shown in this photo :

may I know if this the correct position or the step indicated in the photo should not be there ?

Close the bolt. If it closes and seals air, the barrel is correct.

If the bolt does not close, loosen the bolts holding the barrel and then, close the bolt. Tighten the bolts again and test to see if air is sealed.
