Farley improvements???

I see that Farley has a new rest top available for their coaxial rest and also a new base called a spacebase. I couldn't get much information from their website, so I am asking you guys what the benefits are of these new changes/improvements. Thanks for the help.

Oh, too, their website has a picture with the word "kinetic" under it but no info or explanation as to the function of that product. Does anybody know what that's about?
 
Gary, just give farley a call. The phone number is on their website. The new bag holder is a good improvement. They make it in-house now. They used to out source the old bag holder but the quality of work had slipped from the vendor so Jim decided to kill two birds with one stone....make a new style holder and make it himself. The spaceage base is basically a lightweight design for those who have trouble lifting the standard base/rest. I do not recommend it because it's just to easy to move the rest during the returning to battery phase and you can feel additional vibration during firing. However, if you can only lift around 20 lbs. Then get the light base and lay a lead shot filled bag on the base. For some it's easier to move two 15-20 lbs items than one 35-40 lb.

The Kinetic is a new trigger they are coming out with. Not available yet but should be within the next month or two.

The web site is being upgraded. I have seen slow improvements.
I got my new Farley 2-3 wks. ago. Only used it once. Too busy working OT. :eek:
I was having so much fun shooting. I didn't care too much about the shoot. So my score suffered. But, it was fun.
I shot an unlimited match with an older Farley. And a bag gun.
A very nice Gentleman let me borrow his. He has a rail gun.
Didn't do too badly. I think, I was 5th place after the first target. 200y. :D
Call Jim or Mike. Real nice fellows. They will explain everything. :)

Tony, I spoke with Mike at Farley this week, and he said that the new top took a little smaller or shorter bag than the prior bag holder.
