I think I am popping shots because the front bag in my Harley rest is way too hard. What are your suggestions? Thanks. Johnnie

What is popping shots????????
Is that spray and pray?

If you are typing about shooting the sighter. Then going to the record target and the first shot goes high?????? Or higher than it should. I think, that is called "first shot goes high".
Then you have to chase it. We could call it the chaser shot....

Anyways, check the rear bag. Only found it when I mentioned this to a fellow shooter.
It's good to talk these things out. He said check the rear bag. All seemed fine.
So I had to be sneakie. Fired some sighters. moved up to record target. Looked at the rear of the stock. I think, it is called the toe.
Anyways. As I am looking the rear/toe is moving up. Between the ears. So for the rest of the weekend. I didn't push the rear into the bag ears as much. Got home put in more sand. Seemed to help.

If you think it is to hard then soften it up and try it. seems to me the only sure fire way of knowing. Good luck and i hope it works. Lee

Johnnie, I was told to put some fuzzy side up velcro on the front bag and see if that made a difference or you could just take some sand out and fluff it up some. Another idea comes to mind, just beat the hell out it with a plunger, might work:D. You going to Holton?

The fuzzy side up velcro sounds like it might work . Also, the Black Diamond blasting sand that Tractor Supply sells doesn't seem to pack as hard for front rests as play sand or the heavy sand that Sinclair sells.
