I don't think he was cherry picking his group first of all.
If you know him, he would never suggest he can repeat that.
He is a excellent shooter and competitor.
He did what he did.

I had a once in a lifetime experience for me this past summer. I happen to have had witnesses with me because we were winding down WY-SHOT and I was trying for guys to get a there first prairie dog kill beyond 1K with a specialty pistol. At the end of the morning, some cool things happened.

FWIW I would give Eric the benefit of the doubt, and I would pick him against the majority of shooters, shooting a 20 shot string at 1K.
Does he get beat-Sure he does. No one wins all the time.

E. Cortina 1kyd group....

It's a 20 shot group...just so happened the last 5 went close together. You can see the other 15 bullet holes in the same target making a 20 shot group.
