sorry, bat / grizzly 6ppc, RLR

Not being picky, but Grizzly is a Stolle/Kelbly product. If you have a BAT w/ spring ejector, you need to fiddle w/ the spring. The spring needs to be ONLY strong enuf to kick the case out the port, no more. If it is too strong it will spin the case in the action, not ejecting it.

If you have a Grizzly, you may have the same issue. I am not familiar w/ them. But if it is a Kelbly action, give the boys in N.Lawrence a call. They are most helpful over the phone.

If in fact your action is a Stolle/Grizzly you can get Kelblys to install there static ejector which uses no spring . You can control how your cases eject by how hard you pull the bolt back. IMHO it's the best ejector for the short (hard to eject) PPC/BR cases. In most instances the static plunger will go in the same hole as the spring plunger.

I know it changes the subject a little, but the best out there for 100 percent reliability, and simplicity, is the Stiller Drop Port.

I have one now, (diamondbacks) on both my Rail Gun and my Sporter. Neatest thing since sliced bread. No worry about cases not falling, or flying off the bench. They just fall right out.......jackie

An important thing is to make sure the ejector pin does not protrude past the bolt. If it does, that will cause problems. I had my Stole fixed by having a Sako type extractor added to the bolt. The extractors that are positioned on the lugs are apain and contribute to poor ejection. The Sako extractor will go a long way toward curing your ills.
