Hello All
Looking to purchase a DRO for the SBL 7388 13X40. Does anyone have experience with DRO PRO”s versions of a digital read out. Experience with the magnetic scales? Any info appreciated.

I have the DRO Pro 2L glass scale on my lathe and am very happy with it.

I spoke with them prior to buying it and they were extremely helpful, and as I live about 4 hours away from them, I had it in a day or two.

I have had one problem with it that was my own doing (think I bumped a scale). I called them about it and they were very concerned, always answered their phone and called me back, talked me through potential problems, solutions, etc. A quick re-adjustment of the scale, and I was back in business.

A buddy of mine owns a machine shop and he has bought two of them for his lathes, with plans to buy a few more. Haven't heard any complaints from him.

I bought one of the "glass" scale versions about 2 years ago. Works great.

I would prefer the new "magnetic" scale they are presently selling, however I have had zero problems with mine. They are great fols to do business with and talk with on the phone.
 
+1 on Todd and crew at DRO Pros. I have their units on my mill and lathe and like them a lot.
