I realize this is primarily a short range forum, but you fellows should know when one of benchrest vendors contribute back to the shooters. The following was posted on the 600-1000 yard forum:
I am very pleased to report that Douglas Barrels has agreed to underwrite the IBS Long Range (1000 yard) Marksman Program. Each year IBS buys LRM jackets and other awards for those that achieve this level of accomplishment. Douglas will sponsor 50% of those costs up to $500. Their generosity will be highlighted on the IBS web site.
Plaques are given for those that have the jackets but earn even higher honors. Those plaques will have the notation on the bottom: "IBS Long Range Marksman Program sponsored by Douglas Barrels".
May I offer a hearty THANK YOU to Mr. Tim Gardner and Douglas Barrels for their generosity!
