Do these shoot the same???

I'm not so sure that the only difference may be lot #. Both boxes may be hunting bullets. Stk. #24528 is 105 match hunting VLD
Stk. # 24429 is 105 match target VLD
Since both boxes say "hunting" and none say target. Funny there's no stock # on the one.
FWIW...I am told the 6.5 /130 match hunting VLD's shoot the same as the match target version up to 400 yards at least.

hunting vs target

gt40: I cannot speak for the 105 gr. Berger's but being unable to get the 95 gr. VLD #24427 Target bullets, I bought the 95 gr. VLD #24527 Hunting bullets. With limited testing/comparison, the Hunting have a .018" shorter seating depth to touch the lands, the point of impact at 300 yds. is 3" left and 3" high, and the group sizes are slightly larger. Have been advised by Berger their J4 jacket machinery is up and running, finally, and they will begin shipping all the back-ordered bullets this week, beginning May 24.

Hi TomD. Hi Ray. I guess that I really was not the one that was shooting so good. :D

Maybe this will help? the hunting Match Grade has a Lot # 2011 and the Hunting bullets have a Lot # 2619

They are both 6mm 105 grain VLDs.

I sure would like to know how to post pictures with my iMAC.

PS: I made a snapshot of the choices I have above where you type in your post. The one with the mountain is the one I am supposed to use.?

I now see that on the back of the one box has the same stock # 24528. Both have the same STOCK #. Sorry I did not notice it on the back.

Berger 105 Gr.

Send Eric Steker,at Berger, an e-mail and he will tell you the difference. If I am not mistaken their #24429 is supposed to be the best target bullet, at least that is what I have been told by some of the long range shooters.
