The government is so successful running the post office at a profit, or even trying to break even for that matter, I'm sure that if the government took over the oil companies, health care, or anything else why not.
I'd really like to be paying $6/gal for gas and the government losing money on every drop pumped, being told that my wife and I are too old to have surgery we might need to continue living (like in England for example), and won't we all love driving around in those little two wheelers that GM is talking about making. I'm sure that the farmers and ranchers here will enjoy hauling a cattle trailer with one of those....

from the way government housing and welfare is run i'm sure it'll be just dandy!! everything the government sticks its fingers into goes straight to hell!!!

Ah, the Post Office!
They complain about being in the hole and needing to raise the price of stamps and then go and double the size of the postage stamp which requires twice the paper, ink, adhesive and backing paper. Those guys must sit on their brains!

Hmmm. My grandmother, who was born long before women could vote, said many, many, years ago, "women shouldn't be allowed to vote."
My mother, who was born about the time women got the vote, said not too many years ago, women shouldn't be allowed in politics.
Now everyone is entitled to their opinion...and, before anyone starts flaming my long gone grandmother or mother...here is my automatic response, "KMA."
