Deletion of threads...

For years, you could delete a thread you started regardless of how many responses. In my ultimate wisdom, I removed that option. Turns out I shouldn't have done that! No, it's not a big deal but I returned the setting to it's previous state and you can now delete what you posted...but consider the responses because if your post is the first one they'll all go with it.

Why did you decide that you shouldn't have done that?

I was one of the ones that complained about the deletion option. I saw some posts that contained useful information vanish because the O.P decided that the rest of the world did not deserve to share in the wisdom that he had discovered.
I do understand that sometimes in hindsight folks regret posting questions. I was willing to take that chance.
