Cooper or Kimber?

Now that I have retired, I have decided on one more quality 22LR bolt sporter. Price is secondary. What say you? Thanks...

I've got both, 2 Kimbers, a Classic and a Super America . Also 2 Coopers, a Classic and a LVT. The Coopers shoots better then the Kimber Classic, never shot the SA. But that could be just the luck of the draw. Also Kimber quit making rimfire rifles a couple years ago and they are getting hard to find in this area.

kimbers are hit or miss, some shoot great, some dont. cooper's shoot very well, and on the rare occasion the rifle doesnt, cooper will fix it.

+1 for cooper..but i also have an Anschutz MPR that outshoots the Cooper

LI have a Cooper M24, 6mmBR 1-8" twist that shoots very well. Have had no problems with it and it shoots well.

Then there is the Kimber, Model 84, .308 hunting rifle. It has been returned to the factory 3 times in the four years I have owned it. One pillar was installed crooked, a burr was found in the bore near the muzzle, the magazine would fly open with first shot when it was filled, and finally, there were frequent misfires. Of course they did repair it each time, but just a PIA. Sorry, I have neither in a rimfire.

tenring, sounds like the 84 varmint 22-250 I had. I've had shotguns that shot a tighter pattern.
