Wanted to post to help make the official announcement of the 1st annual CT State Score Championships this July 28th and 29th. Details can be found here: http://internationalbenchrest.com/schedule/club_seasonal_pdfs.php (excuse the typo on trucks).
If you have any questions please feel free to pm me here or email or call at the address/number listed on the flyer.

Pre-registration is appreciated, but not required. No deposit necessary.
We are putting a lot of work into making the range its very best and look forward to seeing you all there.

Mike Suhie and the crew at Bell City

Thanks, Pete I will add you to the list. What will you be shooting?
Look forward to seeing you there. Will Ms. J be coming as well? We will be setting up tarps to give us more cover and protection out in front of the line and using the pistol line for reloading/cleaning. Should be a good time.
Mike

I will bring both a 6X and a VFS rifle. I assume you will be offering a two gun? I suspect Ms J will be along.

Yes, we are offering a two gun award, and look forward to seeing you both there. We are finalizing the new benches this weekend and then the work on the backers begins.
Mike

Bump for our first state championship. 22spots taken already...we are going to build 2 more benches for a total of 15, and considering the turnout we had at our first match this year it appears as though we will need them all! Keeping it to 4 relays because of our late start, and not that I expect that many, but I don't want to turn anyone away.
thanks for looking
Mike

BTT - If you have any questions regarding accommodations please see the IBS website or email me at the website listed there under the Bell City Rifle Club listing.
Hope all are well and look forward to seeing you at the match.
Mike

Mike,
I'm panning on being there. Just one gun, both yardages.
Hope your stayin cool and having a good 4th.

Matt Guthrie

Thanks for the heads up, Matt. Look forward to seeing you there. Staying cool was not easy today, but a few adult beverages helped the situation a bit.
If you are up for it we will be at the range this Sunday building backers and doing some practice/load development. You are welcome to come as my guest if you like.
Mike

Good morning Mike, I am looking forward to the State Match, I believe I let you know last time I shot there, but just to confirm. I'll be there both days and two or three guns, "you gotta be in it to win it!" My best to Rich. Cheers, Charles

I've got you down for two or three guns, Charles. Should be a good turnout and 6 pre-registered 2-gun competitors so far. We now have 15 solid benches so there is plenty of room for everyone.
Thanks for your support.
Mike

Mike,
Thanks for the invitation, I think I'll come help you guys out and maybe get a few shots in as well. I have some Vit powder that I would like to get into.

Matt Guthrie

39 guns so far and the numbers are creeping up daily. 15 benches and it looks like we will have to go to 4 relays if the registrations keep coming in. The furring strips are purchased, and 100yd backers are ready for assembly and the mirage has set up camp at 200yds.
Competition will be tough and there will be plenty of water, soda and gatorade to keep everyone hydrated.
Hope to see you there.
Mike

yes, we will be there on Friday setting up and taking registrations. It might get a little tricky for those that want to shoot, but as long as we have members to cover "guests" we should be fine. No problem on setting flags, but the range will be open to the membership so it may take a little longer than usual.
Mike (aka Steve).

I thought everyone from Ct was named Steve, No? :) Sorry Mike, I think I have done that before. Don't know what came over me. I'll see you there Friday then. Got all my cases prepped and about 1/3rd of them loaded. Oh, and you can call me Steve if you wish but I would prefer you call me Al.
