Competition dasher brass methods, specifically cleaning.

I'm new to loading for the 6mm Dasher in a competition rifle. I've ordered a Redding FL bushing, die and Wilson inline seater. I'll be neck turning my brass so my questions are about cleaning. How do you clean the brass before sizing and after to get the Imperial off? I'm thinking the tumbler might damage the thin necks, is this true?
 
No need to clean before. Wipe imperial off with a towel.

A fair number of people find this sufficient. And a fair number of us find there is still a slight coating. If you use alcohol on the towel, it will take it all off.

Personally, I find a water-soluble case lube, like RCBS, a better lube, and of course it is water soluble (spit, in an emergency).
