What are your guys thoughts on this lathe

Looking at 13x40 and 14x40

Have looked at Sharp, Acer, Kent, Victor and many others.

My limit on a lathe is going to be $10,000. That limit will include a DRO, 3 jaw set-true chuck and Aloris or Dorian tool post and holders.

I'm asking on the above Clausing because I can get it new for around $6,800.

well sort of I have the exact same lathe 13x40 made by the same company even has the colchester medalion on the lathe bed got it from mat at quality machine have no bad things to say threads awesome and has wide range of speeds and short through head stock and 1 9/16 spindle bore and another plus the dials are big and very easy to read in english only no metric scales to have to deal with if you have any questions about it e mail me at JB_ent@live.com Sincerly Justin Bowerman
