Well, the work is in progress on the 300 yd target boards and backers. Also decided to put in a 25X30 red iron loading canopy closer to the range. Should start on that after the first of the year.

Got the 300 yd backers totally finished. It was a nice day to get the cable cut to length and get the counterweight sized just right so everything runs smooth as glass. Fired up the backer moter and it works perfectly. Shot a few rounds through it with backer paper installed and it cuts a real nice hole. I use 110 lb index paper.
300 yd backers are big! Have to use 23X17 paper which of course is not a standard size. Anyway, it will be nice to hold 300yd group matches.
Still working on the shooting format and then will clear everything with Don Creach for the dates.
