I sit gingerly at my laptop while making this report - my backside is very sore from the beating I just took
We started the LV 100 in the morning with temps in the low 50's and winds calm. If you were not shooting ones on nearly every target, you were not going to fair well. Roy Damron kicked everyone's butt and won the LV 100 with a very nice .1582 agg. Roy was shooting VV 133. To make matters worse, Roy was throwing (not weighing) his charges. He told me it is off a couple of tenths every now and then; however, he makes it work - I'll say.
In the afternoon, we shot HV 100 with temps in the mids to upper 70's, winds 5 to 10 mph and very switchy. Tom Ross prevailed in these challenging conditions with a .1622 agg.
The usual suspects are in competition for the grands and 2-gun. I've attached a report of all the participants from the LV and HV 100 matches held today. Tomorrow the weather is supposed to turn cold with rain and possible thunderstorms
The morning calm before things got started.
The wall of unhappiness where attempts to explain the mysterious 4&1 group are conducted in painful detail.
A member of the Russian team checking on his targets.
The chow line at lunch where everyone is filled with food and hopes for small groups in the afternoon.
Folks in the east loading area looking for the magic tune that bring smiles to the face and steam to the stride.
Roy Damron cleaning his winning rifle just like he cleaned all our clocks in the LV 100.
