I have a couple of BV20 Unertle scopes but they have different external adjustments. One is Unertle and the other is weaver. Anyone know anything about the weaver adjustments?
Thanks
Sam
I'd assume that might be the one that was standard on the old 2.5-8X. Is the rear blued, square with relieved corners and low blued caps? The front looks like a standard weaver strap type, however it pivots. If so, I cannot imagine how it might have found it's way onto a Unertl, I suspect it's not that precise.
The front is a strap type with no external adjustments with a 45% slant cut on the sides. The rear is as you say and has friction adjustments. I don't know how it got there either. I can't see the Unertle name as it is under the rear strap but it is identical to the other Bv-20. Never used it so I can't say anything about how it may effect accuracy. I will list them both with Wilbur soon as I don't need either of them. I wanted information so I could price them accordingly. Pictures will be there and you may look to see if it is what you suspect.
Thanks for you input.
