My Chevy truck engine says Hecho en Mexico and none of my standard wrenches fit the transmission or suspension pieces.
My Ford trucks transmission says Toyo Koyo and the gears are made out of nylon not steel.
I hope you kept your Chevelle with the big block?

Well one thing for sure is the BEST BENCHREST BULLETS AND BR GUNS are made here.
 
Farley, Leupold, Edgewood, Hodgdon, CCI, Federal... seems a lot are still US made :)
 
I was talking with a CNC techie today, he was setting up a new HAAS Vertical Machining Center. I asked him how much of the machine was actually made in the US. He said that a surprisingly large quantity of the parts for the machine were US made. All of the fasteners are Inch except the ones in some of the small motors, etc., which are made in Japan.
It is neat to see a CNC machine that is actually made in the USA and that makes money for a US shop.
The top of the line machines are still make in Japan.
 
Some Hogdon powders are mfg. by St. Marks in the good old USA, Hybid 100 for example.
Of course the "good" Hodgdon powders are made by ADI in Australia though.:D

That's really not a bad idea. i HAVE LINCOLN MADE IN THE USA 90% AMERICAN 10% CANADA ASSEMBLED IN THE US
It's a 2001 and i'm not sure where the steel came from.
Probably one of our old ship remelted in india
