There was a light turnout for the match with 5 custom and 1 factory gun, someone said there was a conflicting match somewhere close by. The conditions were pretty good but it got a little breezy as the match went on out to 300.I managed to win the custom class w a 141 score, Gary Hendrix was 2nd w 134 and mt protege Eric Coleman was 3rd w 131. Eric shot well for his first match and was winning until we went to 300, the wind was pushing him into the black and he couldn't see his shots, so he assumed they were in the black 10 ring but when the targets were retrieved he had a nice little knot in the 6 ring with his last shot going in the 8 as the wind letup. The name of the gentleman who won factory has totally slipped my mind but congrats to him also.I think everyone had a good time, I know Eric and I did and I got to see Jim Gigglio for the first time in probably 20 yrs., It was good to catchup a little. Thanks to Pat and Glenn for putting on the match and a special thanks to Pat for the use of his rest.
