He's up to his old tricks. During his first stint as California's Governor in the 70's, they didn't call him "Governor Moonbeam" for nothing. When he was elected in 1974, he said he was saving the state money by not living in the Governor's mansion and by be chauffeured around in his person blue Plymouth instead of using the state supplied car.
In California, we have term limits and a person can only serve as Governor for 8 years, which he did between 1974 and 1982. But apparently, if you take some time off the job, you can run again, which he did.
