I purchased a tool to remove my firing pin (Nieska J action).
Oil the pin ,spring ect ????

Doesn't look like you are getting any replies, but as for me I have never oiled a firing pin or spring.

I do put bolt grease on the leading edges of my locking lugs as well as at the back where the bolt cams to cock the firing pin. I do this every two or three groups.

When I have it apart, I spray brake fluid over the spring and inside the bolt to remove crud. After it dries, I spray Ballistol over the spring and re-install it into the bolt. Always dab a little grease behind each lug and in the cam slot.

Any place in the action, or inside the bolt, where metal rubs against metal (especially steel against steel) should have a light coat of oil or grease between the surfaces. This is just a basic rule to prevent wear or galling.

What kind of grease is best for the bolt lugs?
