2016 Blue Bonnet

Thanks for posting Jerry, it was a great match and I had a great time with some super good people to hang around with. The Boy Scouts did a fantastic job running targets and feeding us all BBQ. It was also a lot of fun watching Mike Conry making a run at a new record at the Sunday Morning 200 yd match. I'm already looking forward to next year's Blue Bonnet!
 
Jerry, a special thanks to you, Kris and others for putting on a great match. If it wasn't for volunteers like y'all, we wouldn't be shooting benchrest anywhere. The people behind the scenes are definitely the unsung heroes of benchrest. In spite of New Braunfels typical trying conditions, its a very enjoyable place to shoot and not hard to get my wife to go to New Braunfels. I left the range Sunday in shorts and just about froze by the time I got home. Hard to imagine that there is that much temperature swing in Texas. But, just shows the truth in that old axiom that if you don't like the weather in Texas wait five minutes or in our case drive 500 miles north.
