Hi all bisley went really well today :) I got 1 v bull on the 900 yard line 52.1 out off a possible 76.5 and the 1000 was ok with 2 v bulls :) and total of 51.2 and to top it off my first ever shot at 1000 was a v bull :) not bad for my first time at these ranges. I beat mark with his own gun :-( he shot first then I went last with Charlie from cgc and mark was doing my scoring for me as I haven't don't it before so with all that im not surprised I put him off a bit. The bloody wind at 9-1000 is some thing else! you watch it adjust accordingly and the bullet still hit some where else lol it is so hard to call the wind even with the flags! It looks like its similar all the way down but the exact strength of the wind is impossible to guess but I would highly recommend you all have a go it was great fun.

Thanks :) and for my first time I thought I did well, it wasn't my gun it was a friends but I have a howa 1500 in 308 so once I get a load worked up I will see if I can shoot as well with my own gun! I will let you know how I get on with it :) I am going to have to use the mid range bullets if I want to get out to 1000 so im hoping my 1-12 will shoot the 175gns

If you have a 1-12 try 190 Bergers with 42.0 40-64
Worked for me and tied for the Halford
But good you tried the Long Range. Great group of people over there
How about those guys laying on their back side???

Hi yes some one else suggested I go to the 190s so next time at bisley I will get some samples up to 190gn to try out,
I have the long range bug now :D nothing under 600 will do ;)

I was there for the F-Class match at 1000/1100/1200 that weekend. Small world :)
