Berger 88 gr HBC/FB vs. 90 gr BT

First, I am new to the 6BR. I have a 1:10 twist 28" Krieger in a 6BR that just installed on a Savage Target action. I want to work up loads for 200-300 yd target shooting (group) for when the wind is high (always in Oklahoma). I know the ballistic coefficients are very similar. My experience is that flat base bullets (88gr) are easier to tune than boattails (90 gr). However, I have read that the 88 gr FB high B.C. is a picky to tune.

What is your experience with these bullets?

Thanks, tiny

Berger Bullets

The 88gr FBHP #243088L was harder to load with the flat base and my RCBS seating stem did not fit the bullet. The 90gr BTHP #243090B worked out better for me in 243 win. 1-10 twist. Some 5 shot groups were just under 1 inch at 300 yds. Not a bench rest shooter, but great for me.
