Bat action extractor?

On my new Bat action SV the extractor seems very stiff and gritty.
It has been like this from the get go. It seems that the extractor has a hard time slipping over the cartridge rim? Do any of you know how to remove the extractor from this SV Bat action? The bolt closes easily after you get the extractor over the rim. I thought I would take the extractor out and message it a little? I have used all kinds of bolt grease and tried my best to hand (thumb nail) message it back and forth, and it doesn't get any better!
I haven't called Bat Machine yet cause if they wanted me to send it back I'm sure it would take months for it's return?
I sure would appreciate any help with this extractor problem!

I'll bet BAT will turn it around in a week. Slow on actions but will provide quick follow up service when needed.

Or you can take it out and polish things a little. Probably the countersunk hole in the extractor and/or the retainer cone on top of the spring.

I stick a paper clip into the hole on top of the extractor. Watch for flying parts when you push the extractor off.

Thanks Dave!

Thanks again Dave!
I saw the little hole on the extractor and wondered?
I thought I would use a large Zip-lock bag covered by a towel.
I will also call Tom D at Bat machine tomorrow.
I am a little leary of doing this, but I might try.

I wouldn't hesitate at all to send the bolt back to Bat. I'd bet you would have it back in less than 2 weeks including shipping time.
