What do you all think of Bartline barrels . Specifically a 29" Rem Varmint 6mm 8"5R Twist Chambered in 6mm Creedmore . Purpose long range steel and prairie Dogs . Current rifle is Rem 700 Sendearo in 6/284. That bbl is done,I'm through with that cartridge. How long do I want the bbl to be ?

off the top of my head i am thinking it maybe too long.
modern powders get a lot done in shorter bbls.

what is the longest savage does in this round ??

Bartlein barrels are absolutely top of the line in premium barrels. They are not the oldest barrel maker, but in the last 10 years or so, they have risen to the top of barrels chosen by our best competitors. People like Tony Boyer, Mark Buettgen, Gene Bukys, Billy Stevens, Bart Sauter, and many others are using them to set BR records. There are many great barrels made today, but you can't go wrong by choosing a Bartlein. James Mock

Bartlien needs a major retail Supply Outlet such as what Krieger and Bat have with Bruno.

Isn't Ron Hoehn a major dealer for them? He's not from Texas or Arizona, but can ship from Missouri. Bartlein can't keep up and are ramping up production now. Quality is job one.
