He said a 6mm, not a 6.5mm. Bill Shehane's the expert on that one. But I shot a 6/284 with the reamer held in .200, which gives the same capacity as a 6 Ackley. Barrel life was about 750. You never can tell with a barrel, some of the one that look awful will still shoot. But the velocity will be down. If you can get 500 rounds at match accuracy, I think you've gotten your money's worth with a 6/284.
