barrel length for the 6 mm ppc

I see that a barrel of 21.5 in. is the cats tail.,is this true or am I missing something?
what is the longest barrel that the shoot for the varmint classes?

Where did you see that- im guessing a report from the 80's? Our barrels are dictated by weight, no length is correct. Most lv tapers are 20-22"

Dusty is right. Length is more a function of weight limits. My HV PPC wears 21.5" because it puts me just under 13.5 lbs.
