ARC 200 yd Hunter Benchrest Match Sept 29, 2019
12 Shooters - 9 VFS, 3 Hunter Rifles
We shot 200 yds today for 1st time in years, since hosting a state match in the 90's. Started with a 10 mph South breeze that kept getting stronger as the match went on. X's were stingy today.
1st place in Hunter Rifle was Curt Gallaher with a 241-3X and had 3 best score targets. 2nd place goes to Tommy Maedgen at 233-2X.
Our top 3 finishers in VFS all shot 246's but Bob Maedgen pulls off a first place win with the most x's of the day, 246-7X. Steve Young got 5X's for 2nd place and Robert Rongero snags 3rd place with his 3X's.
200 yard shooting was a little different for most and I even heard somebody say "Let's do that again!" Good shooting everybody.
Next month we'll return to the 100 yd line and to our regular start time of noon.
